You don't have to use drugs to make a living
No, no, you don't have to use drugs to survive
It will make you think, you're getting ahead
But before you know it, it will kill you dead
Can't you see for yourself what drugs are doing?

Come on to Jesus,
Come on today (Sing Debra)
Jesus loves you, put drugs away. (I like that)
You need to get up off of that cocaine, (Oh yeah)
And get up off of that crack. (Everybody)
And you can get yourself together
And get your mind back
Can't you see for yourself what drugs are doing?

It will put a dollar in your hand
But look what it's doing to your fellow man.
It'll make you feel good for just a little while,
But it will drive you crazy and drive you wild.
Can't you see for yourself what drugs are doings?

Come on to Jesus, (Come on to)
Come on today (He loves you)
Jesus loves you, (put that stuff away) put drugs away. (Oh yeah)
You need to get up off of that cocaine, (Ought to do it right now)
And get up off of that crack. (And get yourself together)
And you can get yourself together (Oh yeah)
And get your mind back (Oh yeah)
Can't you see for yourself what drugs are doing.

Look what they doing to the boys and girls,
There are killing and a stealing all over this world.
I wanna tell you, and this is a fact,
It is doing the white just like the black.
Can't you see for yourself what drugs are doing.

Come on to Jesus,
Come on today
(Jesus loves you) Jesus loves you, (put that stuff away) put drugs away.
You need to get up off of that cocaine,
(I wouldn't take no chance and leave it)
And get up off of that crack. (Yes sir)
And you can get yourself together (Thank You Jesus)
And get your mind back (Yeah)
Can't you see for yourself what drugs are doing.

A young man joined my church... a few months ago
But when he left, I didn't see that young man anymore
It was a few weeks later... that we were burying a friend of mine
And close by, was another hearse driving real slow
I asked someone, I said "Well, who that they burying over there?"
They said "Don't you know?
It is a young man that joined your church... a few weeks ago"
I said "Well, I didn't know he were dead. What happened to him?"
They said "He just couldn't leave drugs alone.
They found him dead right in his home, it was an overdose."
That's what drugs will do. Let's hear it again...

Come on to Jesus, (Come on right now to)
Come on today (If I were you children, I would do it right now)
(You know they can put something in this stuff you know)
Jesus loves you, put drugs away. (Oh yeah)
You need to get up off of that cocaine, (I wouldn't take no chance)
And get up off of that crack. (I would get myself together)
And you can get yourself together (Oh yeah)
And get your mind back (Yeah)
Can't you see for yourself what drugs are doing.

I like that, let's say that one more time

Come on to Jesus, (You need to come on to)
Come on today (He will put His arms around you yes)
Jesus loves you, (You ought to know that by now) put
drugs away. (Thank You Jesus)
You need to get up off of that cocaine, (Yes sir)
And get up off of that crack. (If I were you, I would do it right now)
And you can get yourself together (And get your mind back)
And get your mind back (Yes sir)
Can't you see for yourself
Can't you see for yourself
(Can't you see for yourself)
Can't you see for yourself what drugs are doing.
